I love all my grappling shorts from Nation, for different reasons. They throw in a design twist with every new iteration. To be honest, these feel more economical in construction, then, for example, the War in Heaven shorts; or even the Wu-Jitsu line. But they are $10 less so that fits. The synthetic satin patina is awesome, the deep blue adds a new color to the spectrum that also reflects my rank so I had to pick these up. The bright red is a great highlight color. These fit a little snugger around the waist than their other shorts, or maybe have less elastic. So if you are *just* fitting in to the size you normally order from Nation, you may want to consider bumping up for these.
